Safety in motion: Wittur unveils safe elevator solutions at Interlift exhibition

“Safety in motion”: this is the slogan of Wittur stand at Interlift 2013. “This slogan underlines the focus on safety that we all in the elevator industry need to have”, explains Dr. Walter Rohregger, CEO of the Wittur Group.

Interlift, a key international exhibition for elevators, components and accessories, will take place from October 15^th to 18^th 2013 at the Exhibition center of Augsburg, Germany.

Wittur will display its wide range of solutions for new installations and modernization as well as a preview of product novelties that are going to be announced soon. Moreover a selection of new concepts and technologies from its Research and Development centers will demonstrate Wittur´s strategy of continuous product development.

Wittur products and solutions will be arranged around four corners focusing on Space, Modernization, Safety and Technology. Visitors will have the possibility to experience the corners in an interactive and captivating way. Additionally Wittur experts willbe available to demonstrate key features and advantages of each exhibit.

More comfort with less space

Wittur door solutions for installations in limited spaces will be on display, including the FINELINE, a reduced sill door and the Hydra Plus UD 300, a reduced height door. MRM W Line, a modular elevator system for complete elevator modernizations with reduced pit and headroom, maximized car dimensions and high energy efficiency will also be present. It will be equipped with the new MCS1 car.

Modernize to get safe

Wittur has developed a full range of modernization kits for components such as doors and drives but also for complete systems, which are highlighted in the modernization corner. Moreover, a special counterweight frame with integrated safety gears, specially designed for a major modernization project in the USA, will be presented on the stand. Wittur WSG 09, the energy efficient “pancake” drive solution for machine room elevators and Wittur HI hydraulic pump with inverter complete the modernization solutions section.

Wittur cares about your safety

The new UCM solution with EBRA 20 counterweight safety gears will be presented for the first time at Interlift 2013. The new package-certified solution complements the range of Wittur UCM solutions according to EN 81/1 A3.

A Wittur MRL W Line complete elevator will be presented in the EN 81-71 cat. 2 vandal resistant execution with Pegasus vandal resistant doors and the new Wittur E-Drive controller.

The HHL W Line, Wittur’s platform according to machine directive will be on display in an EN 81-70 compliant execution. A selection of Wittur safety components including OL35 and OL100 overspeed governors and CSGB and WSGB10 safety gears further demonstrates Wittur´s expertise in elevator safety.

Wittur stands for future technology

The fourth corner of the Wittur stand will host most innovative solutions such as HYDRA EVO, the evolution of Wittur HYDRA designed for EN81-20/50 compliance, and AUGUSTA EVO, the new reference door for the residential elevator market. These products will be presented for the first time at the Interlift exhibition.

PEGASUS Skyline will represent the range of Wittur solutions in the high-rise segment. Wittur gearless drives on display will include the latest models: Wittur WSG T0 and WSG S3.6, as well as Wittur´s D-PACK, which is a combination of a gearless drive and an inverter.

Wittur is one of the first companies globally to test and certify the energy requirements of its components according to the new VDI 4707-2 directive in line with its environmental policy.

Certified components include ECO+, MIDI+, SUPRA door drives and its range of gearless drives.

This section will be completed by an area for innovative materials and solutions out of the Wittur R&D departments.

A dedicated space at Wittur stand will present the Wittur Academy, where customers will be able to experience the easy installation procedure of different Wittur doors with live demonstrationsand workshops of door assembly. Wittur Academy representatives will be available to introduce visitors to the range of specialized trainings for Wittur customers available at Wittur Academy headquarters in Wiedenzhausen, Germany. Wittur Academy teachers will also give live presentations of Wittur solutions shown at Wittur stand.
