Dear Customer,
Wittur is attentively monitoring the Covid-19 situation and is taking all possible measures to minimize the impact on our customers, our employees, partners and business activities.
In this emergency, Wittur’s very first priority remains to ensure the protection and wellbeing of its employees.
Actions we have taken in all our locations include increased frequency of cleaning and disinfection of working areas, checking the temperature of employees before entering the facilities, reduction and relocation of people to keep safe distance while working, use of masks and gloves. We activated smart working whenever possible.
Our second priority is to minimise any impact on customer delivery expectations of our components and systems.
Wittur plants in Wujiang and Changshu in China are now running back at full capacity. Most Wittur facilities in Europe and Americas are currently in production with reduced capacity due to precautions taken. While we expect to stop production in some sites following the provisions of local governments in the next days, we started our business continuity plans to continue operations across Wittur facilities. Moreover, we will continue to supply spare parts to our customers that are ensuring continuous operations for elevators worldwide.
In these challenging times we fully support all people working hard to stop the spreading of the Covid-19, such as doctors, nurses and people assisting patients in hospitals; we made a donation to two hospitals in the critical Italian areas of Bergamo and Parma and, as Wittur, we act responsibly to #FlattenTheCurve while protecting our employees and our customers.
We will continue to thoroughly monitor the situation and keep you promptly informed.
For any specific information, please contact your Wittur local representatives who are always available to answer your question and support your business in this challenging period.
